The members of the Association ‘’The Danube 1245’’ arrived at Danilovgrad a day early and stayed at the beautiful hotel ‘’Perjanik’’. The representatives of the Association were Mr. Rajko Marinkovic, president of the board, Mrs. Brigita Dimitrijevic, president of the assembly, Mrs. Mirjana Marinkovic and Mr. Radovan Ilic, members.
The next day, Mr. Marinkovic and Mrs. Dimitrijevic, together with the representatives of the partners on the project, attended a reception hosted by the president of the assembly of the Municipality of Danilovgrad, Mr. Miodrag Djurovic, who welcomed the guests and wished them a pleasant stay. The host and the guests exchanged gifts on this occasion.
On the first day of the seminar, participants attended a presentation of the project and the city of Danilovgrad and took part in the workshop ‘’Migrant Crisis’’. These activities were followed by a pleasant evening and dinner at the tavern ‘’Bandici’’.
The next day, the representatives from all partner countries participated in four workshops which took place at the multimedia conference room of the Cultural Centre in Danilovgrad. The participants used this opportunity to get to know each other, exchange opinions and work together on finding the solutions. After a working day, everyone enjoyed the performance of the folklore ensemble ‘’Oro’’ , which was organised to celebrate the 11. anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Montenegro.
The third day of the seminar was spent reaching conclusions and sightseeing. The tour included the unforgettable visit to the famous monastery ‘’Ostrog’’ and a lunch at the hotel ‘’Sokoline’’ where all the participants were photographed together. Interestingly, the hotel’s wine card offers a special brand of dessert wine ‘’Bermet’’ which is produced by Kis winery from Sremski Karlovci.
The next event of the project ‘’Following European Paths’’ is scheduled in the middle of July in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.
