The fourth event under SMUG Project had happened in Krusevo, Macedonia, hosted by LAG AGRO LIDER Krivogashtani.

Event was the public debate on topic “Over Other Point of View” with participation of 80 guests from 9 European countries: Croatia, Slovenia, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Hungary, Serbia and Macedonia.

On first day of event, greetings were followed by first debate “Let Your Voice Be Heard” – EU membership, yes or no. Participants were working in 3 groups, work was moderated. Our participants worked jointly with Macedonian ones representing country candidates to EU accession. Work was obtained in 2 subgroups with aim to justify pros and cons for EU accession. Then, the opinions of both sides were stated in plenary session.

Second day of event was opened with addressing to participants by Mr. Tome Hristoski, Mayor of Krusevo.

After warm greetings by Mayor, the referendum was organized with 2 ballot boxes and participants are asked to answer the question: “If you would need to make choice today, would you vote Yes or No for accession of your country to EU?”

In the afternoon od second day of event, it was organized sightseeing tour to Ohrid Town where after arrival, all participants were invited to be gusts on lunch organized by Mayor of Ohrid Town, followed by presentation of realized and ongoing projects relevant to Ohrid’s development and by guided sightseeing tour around Ohrid.

There were 35 participants from Sremski Karlovci actively participated in this event, coming home richer with new experiences, new project ideas and new friendships.
