In Bac, in the hall of the Cultural Center, on April 15, 2021, the Organization of interactive discussion “Cultural heritage of Bac – my contribution” was realized within the project “Cult (R) ural – development, protection and promotion of the municipality of Bac” which is an integrative civic initiative The general goal is to support the citizens of the municipality of Bac to get involved in the development processes of the local community and is implemented by the Association of Citizens Danube 1245 from Sremski Karlovci in cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Bac, which is part of a broader project “Platform for Responsible Public Financial Management”. for Development (UNDP) and funded by the Government of Sweden.
The participants were citizens of Bac, farmers, civil society organizations, representatives of the public sector, the moderator of the meeting was Mrs. Nikolina Pupavac, head of the development sector in the RBA Backa.
As part of the implementation of this project activity, an invitation was prepared and sent to 25 email addresses of representatives of civil organizations working in the field of cultural heritage, representatives of the Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Bac as project associates and representatives of the municipal administration of Bac. Participants were presented with the project, project goals and their role in the project in different phases of project implementation. They presented their views on the situation on the topic of cultural heritage, its importance for the community and the issue of achieving general social interest in this area. as well as collecting ideas through which citizens could make their personal and collective contribution. To collect the ideas of the citizens, two “idea boxes” were made, which were placed with a promotional stand in the hall of the Cultural Center and the office of the Tourist Organization of Bac, on the territory of the municipality of Bac, with the consent of JLS representatives.
After the meeting, the participants continued their conversation with catering on open topics in an informal atmosphere.
