Second November 2021: The representatives of the Danube 1245 attended a meeting with Ms. Sanja Atanaskovic Opacic from the Department of International Relations at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue.

The Ministry has the authority to work with civil society and is the contact point for the EU CERV Program on behalf of the Republic of Serbia.

We are acquainted with the activities and plans of the Ministry in this area and considered the possibility of participation of representatives of the Ministry in the DESIRE project where the Danube 1245 is one of 9 partners and the only partner from the Republic of Serbia.

There is a general agreement that the representatives of the Ministry would take part in the work of the final international conference within the DESIRE project, planned for the period 8-10. May 2022 in Sremski Karlovci. Also, the activities of organizing the arrival of the theater troupe from Portugal to Sremske Karlovce were presented with a multimedia theater play on the topic of Schuman’s declaration and the unification of Europe.

Both sides expressed readiness for cooperation, especially in the field of realization of European projects.
