Europe for Citizens Program: Project “Seven European Countries – One Identity”

A total of 335 invited citizens from 7 European countries participated in the project: Malta, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Italy.

In the period from September 26 to October 5, 2022, seven one-day civic forums “Our European Identity” were held with the participation of 105 participants.

Then, a three-day international conference “Seven European countries – one identity” was organized from October 6 to 8, 2022 in the city of Birgu during the traditional Birgu Fest event.

The conference was attended by 240 participants from 7 countries, of which 190 foreign participants from 6 European countries. A history class was organized where a local historian introduced the participants to the most important cultural and historical objects, held a lecture and introduced them to the history of the city of Birgu and Valletta. In the evening, project participants attended a large local traditional event, Birgu Fest.

All Partners have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
