Dunav 1245 participant of the PLANETWISE project within the Erasmus+ program

The leading partner and host of the event is the civil society organization, Institute for Social Innovation and Cohesion (Fifty-Fifty) from Thessaloniki, Greece, partner organizations are the Korenjak Sofia Foundation from Bulgaria, the Krivogaštani Local Action Group from North Macedonia, the Association for Sustainable Social Development and Volunteerism Križevci from Croatia and Dunav 1245 Sremski Karlovci from Serbia.

The project brings together 5 young participants from all 5 countries, 25 of them in total, and aims to establish a transformative hub where youth workers work. Through targeted workshops, participants will learn how to work with young people in securing jobs, developing business ideas, and encouraging innovation.

This Initiative emphasizes outdoor activities as a powerful educational tool that encourages personal development and empowerment. Participants engage in nature-based learning, acquiring practical skills to create meaningful experiences for young people.

Environmental responsibility is a key focus of the project, with open activities combined with sustainability workshops. Participants will learn about environmental practices and the importance of integrating sustainability into their work with youth.

Digital competence workshops play a key role in preparing participants for the ever-evolving digital landscape.

These sessions provide hands-on training on digital tools, platforms and strategies through online engagement to enhance youth work.

The project actively promotes social inclusion by including role-playing exercises, simulations and cross-cultural exchange activities.

In the course of the implementation, an Intercultural Night was also planned where the participants were expected to present their country and its culture to the other participants (without the use of presentations, etc.) by telling a short story about it, perhaps bringing some traditional food, performing a dance, or presenting some other tradition of their country.

Participants in front of our organization are students: Gregor Prokopić, Marija Bošković, Đorđe Spasojević, Teodora Brborić and Nikola Babin, all from Novi Sad.

All participants received a European (youthpass) certificate at the end of the mobility.
