EcoScape Partners Gather in Serbia for 2nd Transnational Project Meeting

The picturesque town of Sremski Karlovci hosted the Second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the Erasmus+ project EcoScape – Bridging Agriculture and Biodiversity with Augmented Reality. This innovative project, funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-VET programme, brings together partners from Poland, Italy, Ireland, Croatia, and Serbia to promote sustainable agriculture and biodiversity through cutting-edge digital learning tools.

The two-day meeting, organized by the Serbian partner Danube 1245, provided an opportunity for the consortium to review progress, share research findings, and plan upcoming activities. Representatives from all partner organizations presented the results of their national surveys and comparative analyses, offering valuable insights into the current state of farmland biodiversity management across Europe.

Day one focused on summarizing the activities completed so far and verifying tasks against the project schedule. Partners shared the outcomes of their national research and online surveys, laying the groundwork for the project’s next phase.

On the second day, discussions turned to the development of the Farmland Biodiversity Management e-learning course, including the design of digital education modules and mentoring strategies. The team also worked on the mid-term project report and scheduled key activities for the second year of the project.

By combining agricultural expertise with innovative technologies such as augmented reality, EcoScape aims to empower farmers, researchers, and vocational educators to protect biodiversity while ensuring sustainable agricultural practices.
