Dear citizens,
We are pleased to inform you that our association “Danube 1245”
started with the implementation of the project “Economic empowerment of women of Srem
Karlovac” which is financially supported by the Institute for Gender Equality.
The goals of the project are to increase the possibility of self-employment and employment of women in
the municipality of Sremski Karlovci through increasing their self-confidence, motivation and
competence for starting one’s own business as well as for capacity building
existing entrepreneurs. Also, the goal is the promotion of lifelong and informal learning
of education.
As part of the project, during December 2025, four trainings will be organized
the following schedule:
1) Financial management and sources of funding for own business
12/12/2025 from 5 p.m., online via the ZOOM platform
2) Marketing and sales – work in rural areas, promote globally
13.12.2025. from 5 p.m., online via the ZOOM platform
3) Innovations
20.12.2025. from 5 p.m., online via the ZOOM platform
4) Realization of entrepreneurial idea – from idea to practice
22.12.2025. starting at 6 p.m., in the premises of the Dunav 1245 association
ul Mitropolita Stratimirovića 12 in Sremski Karlovci
The number of participants in each training is limited. Women will have preference during selection
from the municipality of Sremski Karlovci, but we encourage other interested parties to apply.
