A preliminary online meeting of partners in the preparation of the M-BRACE project – Migrations, Communities, Enlargement: Becoming Europe was held

On April 11, 2025, the first preliminary online meeting of partners was held as part of the preparation of the M-BRACE project – Migrations, Communities, Enlargement: Becoming Europe, which will be applied to the call of the CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) program, priority 3 – Encouraging active civic engagement and democratic participation.

The meeting brought together representatives of organizations from several European countries that are planning a joint project application. Participants discussed key objectives, planned activities and task allocation, with the aim of developing a strong and coherent project application. The focus of the project will be the role of migrants from EU candidate countries – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine – in shaping European identity and strengthening social and economic integration.

The proposed M-BRACE project aims to encourage dialogue between citizens, migrants and decision-makers through a series of interactive events such as workshops, conferences, round tables and participatory laboratories.

The M-BRACE project has the potential to contribute to shaping a more inclusive European narrative, in which migration is not an obstacle, but an opportunity to strengthen shared values and democratic participation.
