We are pleased to announce that the first transnational meeting of the project “NextGen Citizen:
Innovating Civil Learning for Tomorrow” (Erasmus+ KA2) was successfully held from 18 to 20 March
2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The Koreniak Foundation, as the project coordinator, hosted the meeting and was pleased to welcome
all partner organizations.
The meeting marked the official start of the project and brought together partners to build a common
understanding of the project framework, the coordination process and the next steps.
During the meeting, the partners:
• Introduced their organizations and shared experiences
• Discussed the project goals and implementation approach
• Agreed on upcoming activities, schedule and responsibilities
• Layed the foundation for effective communication and cooperation
The NextGen Citizen project aims to improve civic education and encourage active participation of
young people through innovative, digital and non-formal educational approaches.
A successful meeting is an important first step towards effective partnership and achieving sustainable
